The black-and-gray Stream Mic ($279.99 at Amazon) , measures roughly 6.5 by 2.0 by 4.5 inches (HWD), with a
retro-inspired build, but its enclosure is plastic and looks a
little cheap. Given its affordable price, this isn't a big knock.
The built-in desktop stand allows the mic to swivel up to the angle
of the speaker, while its heavy base ensures it will not budge on
the desktop itself. We found that the side screws on the mount
don't do the best job of locking the mic's angle into place, so be
careful when using headphones with the mic's jack not to tug the
cable and change the angle of the mic inadvertently. It can also be
unscrewed from the base and, using the included adapter, screwed
into a standard mic stand.
